(Jannica Honey) U.K.’s Music Venue Trust offers free PDF guides to starting and running a venue Music Venue Trust, the U.K. charity formed to protect, secure and improve grassroots music venues, has launched two books of practical advice on how to both open and run a venue. The books — “How to Open a Grassroots Music Venue” and “How to Run a Grassroots Music Venue” — are available in PDF format and can be downloaded without charge from the organization’s website, as well as in a limited print edition. Each book contains 15 chapters of information, gathered from the experience of the trust’s venues network and its five years of work.
