(Courtesy XFL) He’ll be chief technology officer for new football league New football league the XFL, which is scheduled to begin play next year, has named David Michael its chief technology officer. Michael comes from The Madison Square Garden Co., where he was chief information officer. Michael will be responsible for developing and overseeing all enterprise, digital product and football technology strategies and initiatives for the league and its eight teams. At MSG, Michael led the customer-facing digital transformation program and oversaw enterprisewide technology infrastructure, support and business applications.
