Charles Adams (left) was named assistant general manager of Delaware North’s Massachusetts Sportservice at TD Garden. Adams spent the last 10 years with Levy, most recently as director of operations at the University of Alabama. Adams has also held management roles with Levy in Atlanta and at the Ravinia Music Festival in the Chicago area.

Hosts Global promoted Gina D’Angelo to vice president of operations. 

Oak View Group named Randi Bernstein senior vice president of business development and Michael Moschella senior director of business development. Bernstein was a finance partner at DLA Piper; Moschella comes from Goldman Sachs in New York.

Jeff Calkins was named vice president of business development and general manager of Roc Dome Arena in Henrietta, N.Y. Calkins was general manager of Blue Cross Arena in Rochester for SMG Worldwide.

Nicolas Duhamel returned to atmospheric effects company MDG as marketing and European business development director. Duhamel left the company in 2016 to take a job in event management in France. 

SMG named Mike Krewson general manager of the Denny Sanford Premier Center, Orpheum Theater Center and Sioux Falls Stadium in Sioux Falls, S.D. Krewson was the general manager of the SMG-managed McLane Stadium at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Independent festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents hired Rory Felton as senior vice president of marketing. 

Sponsorship valuation and measurement solutions company IEG named Peter Laatz global managing director. Laatz was executive vice president at Nielsen Sports. 

NEC Group promoted Phil Mead to chairman of arenas and The Ticket Factory and Guy Dunstan to director of arenas.  

Linnea Ljungmark joined digital lighting company Ayrton’s international sales team. Ljungmark has spent the majority of her career at Intersonic AB, the audio, video and lighting distributor founded by her father, Per Olof Ljungmark, in 1997.

BCD Meetings & Events named Ana Paula Hernandez vice president for Latin America. Hernandez was regional director of  Latin America and the Caribbean for American Express. 

LiveStyle named Justin Marine director of business development for AMF Presents. Marine was a talent buyer and marketing manager for USC Events in Seattle.

Visit Baltimore named Rebecca Ramsey regional director of sales for the Midwest region and Trish McClean director of brand marketing. Ramsey has worked for the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau and Visit Charlotte, and McClean was group strategy director at Baltimore-based creative agency Planit.

SMG-managed Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kan., hired Josh Woods as marketing and group sales coordinator. Mattie Sharp was promoted to event coordinator and Mario De La Torre to building engineer.

Spectra named Tim Savona general manager at the Tyson Events Center and Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City, Iowa.


Passings

Denny Allen (left), 64, retired director of the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y., on Feb. 1. Allen was general manager of the arena from 1981 until his retirement last April.

Andy Greenwell, 89, former director of the Hampton Coliseum, on Feb. 8 at his home in Patriots Colony in Williamsburg, Va. Greenwell ran the Virginia venue from 1975 to 1995.
