Incoming second vice chair is head of Tampa Sports Authority Eric Hart became a member of the International Association of Venue Managers 21 years ago, and he credits the organization for his successful career. He’s currently the president and CEO of the Tampa Sports Authority, but his credentials in the venue profession include operating venues across the United States. Hart’s position at the Tampa authority puts him in charge of Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the University of South Florida Bulls. The authority also manages three of Tampa’s municipal golf courses, the Hillsborough County Tournament Sportsplex and the Fairway Cafe and is the landlord for Amalie Arena, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Steinbrenner Field, spring home for the New York Yankees, according to the authority’s website.
