She’s been acting president/CEO since Zev Buffman stepped down last year Susan Crockett has been promoted to president and CEO of Clearwater, Fla.’s Ruth Eckerd Hall. Crockett had been serving as acting president and CEO since October and began her tenure June 1. Crockett has held numerous roles at Ruth Eckerd Hall for the last 30 years, including house manager, arts education project manager, business analyst, director of ticketing, chief information officer and finally chief operating officer before being named acting president and CEO when Zev Buffman stepped down last year. In addition to the 2,200-seat main venue, Crockett will also oversee the 800-seat Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, located in downtown Clearwater’s Cleveland Street District.
